Company was established in 1944 under the name ADLO as a manufacturer of car pumps. From the year 1952 to 1992 the company worked as a subsidiary of Czechoslovak corporation TATRA Kopřivnice, manufacturer of passenger cars and trucks. This period provided company with professional knowledge and skills to the company to become an important Slovak supplier for automotive industry. In May 1992 the company was privatized in the first phase of so called coupon privatization. Current name of the company is AVC Raková, a.s., and it is the continuator of the history of production in Kysuce area. This joint-stock company is already completely in private hands, it has clear structure of shareholders, who put great emphasis on the next development of company. In the frame of continuous improvement program and increasing of management effectiveness AVC Raková, a.s. has built up the organizational structure with 3-level management system. AVC Raková, a.s. is a joint stock company registered in the Business register at Regional Court of Žilina. |
